Founded in 2005, with the vision of contributing to the progress of neuroscience in Turkey, the Neurodegeneration Research Laboratory (NDAL) is the first example of an academic collaboration between a university and a prestigious foundation in Turkey. With support from the Suna and İnan Kıraç Foundation, NDAL soon became a pioneer in the study and molecular analysis of neurodegenerative diseases. In June 2018 NDAL translocated from Boğaziçi University to Koç University Medical School, becoming a unit of Koç University’s Translational Medicine Research Center KUTTAM.
