Prof. Başak visits University of Lübeck

During her visit to Lübeck Prof. A. Nazlı Başak gave two lectures at the Institute of Neurogenetics, University of Lübeck with the titles ‘The Anatolian Peninsula: A rich and less explored resource for Neurodegenerative Diseases’ and ‘Parkinson Disease in Turkey GP2 Connecting Lübeck and İstanbul’.

Under the favor of GP2, which is a resource project of the ‘Aligning Science Across Parkinson’s’, we greatly enjoy an exciting collaboration with Prof. Christine Klein and her team. NDAL’s PhD student Tuğçe had the unique opportunity to spend seven months at Dr. Joanne Trinh’s research group in Lübeck to gain experience in Nanopore sequencing.
